Eligibility Criteria:

All the applicants for the UCW scholarship must meet the following criteria:

• The language of the medium is English (as you will study in Canada).
• International students except USA can apply for this scholarship program.
• Candidates must enroll in a university program before applying for this scholarship.
• You must receive an admission letter from the University of West Canada.
• If you are applying for undergraduate scholarships, you must main GPA of 2.67 to keep receiving scholarships.
• If you are applying for MBA/Graduate scholarships, you must main GPA of 3.00 to keep receiving scholarships.
• The number of scholarships will depend on your academic performance so keep performing well to receive a scholarship stipend.

List of Scholarship types offered by the University of Canada West

There are two types of scholarships offered by the university:

1. International Student Leaders Award
2. Scholarships for Academic Excellence

International Student Leaders Award

This scholarship aims to support those students who want to improve the economic development of their country. Students will be asked how their degree help their country how they will resolve different problems and what will be their future goals. You will write your statement of purpose and which you will write the purpose. Your selection will depend on your SOP so write a strong SOP to get selected for this scholarship program.

Students of Graduate degree programs will receive $5,000-$7,500 while students of undergraduate will receive $8,000-$12,000 from the university.

Scholarships for Academic Excellence

This scholarship is available to those students who are excellent in their academic records and scholars will be selected on merit, Students must exhibit leadership qualities. You must maintain your academic records to keep receiving this scholarship.

Students of Graduate degree programs will receive $5,000-$15,000 while students of undergraduate will receive $8,000-$20,000 from the university.

Tiers of scholarships

There are 2 tiers of scholarships and students will receive scholarship funding in their respective tier.

Tier 1:

• Undergraduate:
  • Associate of Arts Degree: 6,000$
  • Commerce and Business Communication: 12,000$
• MBA: 7,500$

Tier 2:

• Undergraduate:
  • Associate of Arts Degree: 4,000$
  •  Commerce and Business Communication: 8,000$
• MBA: 5,000$

You will be required to submit the following documents when applying for this scholarship:

• Online scholarship form.
• Official transcripts (from all previous post-secondary institutions).
• Proof of proficiency in English.
• Work experience (for graduate programs only)
• Credential evaluation from.
• You may also need to translate your transcript into English (if applicable).
• Chronological resume (for graduate programs only)
