Starting with the 2016-17 Arkansas Lottery scholarship school year, students are awarded at the following rates:

Additional Qualifications for a Traditional Student:

  1. Register full-time for each semester (Autumn and Spring) – 12 hours fall semester immediately after graduation from high school and 15 hours for each semester thereafter.
  2. Students must register for the required hours at one institution.
  3. Students who graduate with a bachelor’s degree at the end of the term can be enrolled in less than 15 hours and still be awarded a prize-divided prize based on their hours.
  4. Students graduating after 2010 must also meet the following for the Arkansas Lottery scholarship

Ongoing Qualification Terms for Arkansas Lottery Scholarship

  • There are less than four sponsorships left.
  • It will be renewed until the recipient first:
  • You are getting a Baccalaureate degree
  • Takes a total of 130 hours per semester for 8 semesters

From the 2016 awards, students will be renewed until a student attempts a total of 120 hours per semester or receives 8 sponsored semesters, whichever comes first.

NOTE: If the degree recipient requires additional hours, ADHE, in conjunction with the student institution, will determine the maximum renewal period.

Additional Eligibility Criteria for the Nontraditional Student:

Register full-time or part-time semester (Autumn and Spring) – Full-time = 15 hours, Part-time = at least 6 hours for Arkansas Lottery scholarship
Among the following conditions:

  • If the applicant is not registered with an accredited tertiary institution, he or she has the following:
  • He graduated from Arkansas public high school and earned an average of 2.5 high school scores; or
  • He graduated from Arkansas public high school, private high school, state high school, home high school, or obtained a diploma equivalent to a high school accredited division of the Division of Career and Technical Education and had a low aggregate score. nineteen (19) of the ACT (Local Laws allowed) or equivalent points of equity with the ACT; or

Request to Forfeit Freshman Award Amount

If you are a high school student at Arkansas high school who will earn 27 or more college credit hours for the Arkansas Lottery scholarship before you start college in the fall (after your senior year), you may be eligible to apply for an Arkansas Academic Challenge grant increase from beginner level. at the second / smallest level.
