Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship 2024 – Fully Funded

All international students who want to study in Hungary for free are welcome to apply for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship. This scholarship is now open for the academic year 2024-2025. This scholarship is offered by the government of Hungary to all international students who want to study in Hungary. Stipendium Hungaricum is a fully funded scholarship and it covers all the expenses of students including their living and study expenses.

You can choose the field of your interest. There are more than 800-degree programs available for international students under Hungary Stipendium Hungaricum. Every year thousands of students apply for these scholarships. In the previous academic year, 4500 international students were awarded fully funded scholarships.

Study Levels

The following degree programs are available for students which cover almost al the academic fields.

• Full-Time Programs
  • Bachelor Degree programs: 2-4 Years  (BA and BSc)
  • Master Degree programs: 1.5-2 Years (MA, MSc Degree)
  • One-tier Degree programs: 5-6 Years (MA, or MSc Degree)
• Non-degree programs
  • Hungarian language preparatory course: 1 Year (Certificate)
  • Postgraduate courses: 1-2 Years (Certificate)

NOTE: 

• One tier master’s degree program means both bachelor’s and master’s degree program combined.
• Postgraduate courses or Postgraduate specialist training courses provide students an opportunity to specialize in master’s or bachelor’s degree programs.

Eligible Countries 

Only students from eligible countries can apply for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship program.

Application Timeline of  Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship for 2024 is given below:

• 28th February 228, 2024: Nomination Process will Start
• March 15, 2024: Selection Process
• April 15, 2024: Submitting Medical
• June 15, 2024: Announcement of selected candidates
• July-August 2024: Visa Processing
• September 30, 2024: Arrival in Hungary

How to Apply for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship?

You need to apply online for Stipendium Hungaricum, there is no application fee to apply for a scholarship. You can submit your scholarship application here.

• You can not apply directly to universities, also you don’t need an admission offer from any participating university to apply for this scholarship program.
• Only the selected students will be called for further application process.
• You can choose a maximum of two preferences in study fields.
