Financial Benefits for Scholars:

This is a fully funded scholarship in 2024 for international students in Slovakia country. This is a free scholarship due to which you can study abroad in Slovakia covers almost all, not all expenses, but most of the costs of the students such as:

Cover Living Costs of International Scholarship Holders’
Food and Accommodation During their degree duration
University Student stipend: 400 €
Stipend for Ph.D. Student: 734 €
Travel money for University and all Ph.D. scholars:
- For distances up to 350 km – 0 €,
- For distance > 350 km, max. 2,000 km – 250 €,
- For distance > 2,000 km, max. 7,000 km – 500 €,
- For distances> 7,000 km – 1 000 €.
Stipend for University Teachers, Researchers, and Artists
- 734 € for 4 years bachelors degree and some work experience as a university teacher/researcher or artist
- 980 € for 2 years if students have a master’s degree and some work experience as a university teacher/researcher or artist
- 1050 € for Ph.D. scholars who have work experience of more than 10 ten years as a university teacher/researcher or artist

Eligibility criteria

The following are the eligibility criteria for this scholarship program:

Students should be from universities outside of Slovakia.
All Students from around the world are eligible.
Note that this full Slovak Student International Student 2024 is not a full-time Scholarship for a Full Graduate
Programs, Higher Degree Programs, or Ph.D. Degree Scholarships.
This is no scholarship available for Bachelor’s Degree students.

Are the tertiary students (royal students), or students who by the time they applied for the deadline have completed at least 2.5 years of their university studies in the same academic program?

Duration of the Scholarship:

The National Scholarship Program is a short-term exchange program offered by Slovak Republic 2024 as an interim budget for Slovak higher education institutions.

Duration of Scholarship for Students: 1 – 2 Full Semesters of the degree program or Full 1 – 3 trimesters, in which case the academic year is divided into trimesters (i.e. 3 – 4 or 6 – 7 or 9 – 10 Months).
Duration of Scholarship for Ph.D. students: 1 year
Duration for University Teachers, Researchers, or Artists: 1 year or 1 – 10 months.
