What are Kazakh Government Scholarships?
The Government of Kazakhstan provides scholarships to international students who are interested in pursuing undergraduate, graduate or postgraduate studies in a higher education institution of Kazakhstan. These Government scholarships include: –
- Full scholarship: In general, 50% tuition fee waiver (or 100% tuition fee waiver for Master’s and PhD degrees)
- Partial scholarship: In general, 20% tuition fee waiver (or 30% tuition fee waiver for Master’s and PhD degrees).
There are 8 available full scholarship categories and 22 available partial scholarship categories. No single applicant can be selected under more than one category. A candidate can only apply to one type of scholarship; he/she cannot apply to both full and partial scholarships. Students with disabilities are entitled to an additional 10 points when being considered.
