About the Burger King Scholarship 2023

Who Is Eligible?

If you are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident who is a high school senior or graduate, or a current college or graduate student, you are eligible to apply for the Burger King McLamore Foundation scholarship.

• This includes employees of Burger King (including their children and franchised employees), as well as their children.
• In addition, Burger King employees, their children, and franchised employees and their children are not eligible to receive a scholarship from the Burger King McLamore Foundation.

To be eligible for the scholarship, you must have a 3.0 GPA or higher and demonstrate financial need.

• You must also submit an essay that discusses your personal motivations for wanting to pursue a higher education.
• The Burger King McLamore Foundation will review all applications and make a decision on who to award a scholarship to in the spring of each year.

What Are the Requirements?

Requirements for the Generative AI Scholarship Program are as follows:

• You must be a legal US resident.
• You or an immediate family member must have participated in BURGER KING® restaurant’s Have It Your Way® campaign at least once.
• You must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent).
• You must be enrolled as a full-time, degree-seeking student (12 credit hours per semester) at an accredited two or four year college, university, or vocational/technical school in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico for the entire upcoming academic year.

If you meet all of the requirements, your application will be evaluated and you may be awarded a Generative AI Scholarship. Scholarships are renewable provided you continue to meet the program’s eligibility requirements.

What Are the Selection Criteria?

The Burger King Scholars Program award is based on the applicant’s post-secondary academic achievement, community service involvement, and demonstration of financial need. Up to twenty (20) awards will be given annually. The selection criteria for this program are as follows:

Post-secondary academic achievement: Applicants must have a degree from an accredited university or college.

Community service involvement: Applicants must demonstrate involvement in some type of community service activity. This can include things like working with children, donating time or money to charity, or participating in civic organizations.

How to Apply for Burger King Scholarship?

To apply for the Generative AI internship, you must meet the following requirements:

• You must be a legal resident of the United States.
• You must be enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college or university within the United States.
